Meet the founder

Dr. Deepa J. Aier, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Dr. Aier is a seasoned early childhood systems leader with more than 25 years of experience designing and strengthening publicly funded ECCE systems, with expertise in building sustainable birth-to-five infrastructures that align governance, financing, enrollment, workforce development, and quality to expand equitable access and accountability.

Dr. Aier led the development of the Ready Region Capital Area’s Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Mixed Delivery program from inception, managing large public grants and building sustainable public-private partnerships across diverse early learning settings. Her expertise spans strategic oversight, grant design and compliance, longitudinal data systems, quality assurance, fidelity monitoring, and workforce capacity-building to support continuous quality improvement. She works collaboratively with community leaders, local governments, and regional stakeholders to strengthen integrated early childhood systems. With a professional foundation in speech-language pathology and university teaching, she also brings specialized expertise in early intervention, inclusive education, and language-rich learning environments.

Dr. Aier’s leadership extends to the nonprofit sector as Division Director of Children’s Education for Samskrita Bharati USA, an international nonprofit organization, where she serves in a voluntary leadership capacity. She provides strategic and operational direction, oversees budgets and governance, and supports hundreds of volunteer educators nationwide. She leads the design and scaling of children’s spoken Sanskrit curricula and innovative initiatives that engage children, families, and communities, while establishing data-informed fidelity and monitoring systems to strengthen instructional consistency, quality, and measurable impact.

Her commitment to children’s well-being also includes international service. Dr. Aier volunteers with surgical programs around the world, providing speech-language training and technical assistance to staff, volunteers, and families of children with cleft conditions and other special needs, including in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

She enjoys mentoring high school students and helping families effectively navigate early childhood, special education, and community systems.
